In an announcement earlier today, that is, the 2nd of April, 2022, the official PUBG Mobile social handle stated that the official version of the Livik map will be coming to the game soon. Livik is the only map in the PUBG franchise which is exclusive to the mobile version of the game.

The 2×2 kilometer map is available across all versions of PUBG Mobile, BGMI, and GFP. It is a lush map with lots of greenery and vegetation and ample cover to take fights from. It also features a snowy mountain terrain on the Northside of the map and a ragged desert terrain on the Southside of the map. There’s also a volcano on the map near the small town of Holthus.

The official version of Livik is set to arrive bug-free in PUBG Mobile

Livik accommodates up to 64 players in a match which could be up to only 13 minutes long and this is a great choice for those lacking the time to play the bigger classic maps. There are lots of firefights with everyone thirsting for kills and is well suited for aggressive players.

The map has been in beta ever since it first came out in the latter half of the year 2020, and players have often wondered if it is going to remain that way with no words from the developers. This announcement brings an end to that wait and the map is set to release officially soon.

With the official release of the map coming up, it should be an indication that all existing bugs in the map get fixed as well. Such bugs include but are not limited to: the zoom-out glitch in the 6x scope, loot crates, items getting stuck inside the ground, render issues for some devices, and so on. Although no date has been announced for the release, it has been said that the date is due sometime soon.
