The Serpent’s Amnion is a Key Item in Elden Ring found on the altar within the Temple of Eiglay of Volcano Manor. To retrieve this item, Tarnished adventurers must first gain access to the estate’s interior by joining the manor’s clan. Tanith, the headmistress of Volcano Manor, will then give players a Drawing-Room Key, which can be used to unlock the doors in the southwestern hallway. One particular room on the right holds a secret passageway that leads to the Prison Town Church, the access point into Volcano Manor’s inner ward. From here, Elden Ring players must make their way to the Temple of Eiglay to find the Serpent’s Amnion.
Using The Serpent’s Amnion In Elden Ring
To reach the Temple of Eiglay and retrieve the Serpent’s Amnion in Elden Ring, players must circle their way within Volcano Manor, going south to the Guest Hall and west to the temple. They must then face the Godskin Noble in battle, after which they can pick up the Serpent’s Amnion from the Temple of Eiglay’s central altar.
To use the Serpent’s Amnion in Elden Ring, return to the Volcano Manor Site of Grace and enter the second room on the right in the southwestern hall. Inside, players will find Rya, the scout of the manor and adopted daughter of Lady Tanith. Rya believes herself to be a child descended from a line of royalty. However, once the Tarnished protagonist shows her the Serpent’s Amnion from the Temple of Eiglay, she will realize her true origin story and descend into despair.
Elden Ring players can conclude Rya’s tale by giving her Tanith’s Tonic of Forgetfulness, slaying her, or doing nothing and completing the Volcano Manor questline. Naturally, doing nothing and returning to Rya in her secret room after killing Rykard will grant the best ending for her story.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
